SP #3: Unit I Concept: 1 Graphing Exponential Functions

The viewers need to pay special attention to the x-intercept. There is no x-intercept because "-5/3" is a negative number and you cannot have a negative number when dealing with logs; so the equation will not work. The viewers also need to pay special attention to the exponents because when you have a fraction as your main number and you have a negative exponent, the fraction will turn into a whole number; but this does not apply for this situation, so you do not have to worry. Also, they need pay special attention to the domain and the range; there is no x-intercept so your domain does not have a limit to it so your domain will be (negative infinity, infinity); since your asymptote is 5 and your equation is positive, then you know the limit notation will be (5, infinity).
